About

What is SEAA?

Based on His highness, Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al-Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah’s vision - to disseminate a culture of environmental awareness amongst all members of society, especially school students, Bee’ah, in collaboration with the Sharjah Education Zone (SEZ), took the initiative to launch an Emirate wide interschool competition under the title of Sharjah Environment Awareness Award (SEAA).

Keeping in line with the mission of preserving the environment and promoting a culture of environmental awareness amongst all residents, Bee’ah is pleased to present the Sharjah Environment Awareness Award to students from nurseries to Grade 12 in the Emirate of Sharjah. According to the criteria, Bee’ah will be offering valuable cash prizes to the winners and honouring them at a special ceremony.

The SEAA is an ongoing competition launched by Bee’ah in 2010 through the Bee’ah School of Environment. More than 450 schools and nurseries have participated in the SEAA and over 60 schools have been awarded for their outstanding efforts in their initiative towards protecting the environment. The participating schools actively involved their students in a range of creative environmental projects and art-craft environmental educational exhibitions based on the 3R’s and saving the environment’s natural resources.
